Yoruba Nation agitator and activist, Oloye Sunday Igboho, bags honorary doctorate degree The Triune Biblical University has awarded Sunday Igboho, the well-known Yoruba nation agitator whose real name is Sunday Adeyemo, an honorary doctorate. The university has its headquarters in Brooklyn, New York, in the United States. Recall that Igboho was detained in Cotonou, Benin Republic, in July of last year over allegations that his passport had been forged. He had previously been listed as sought by the Department of State Services (DSS) due to allegations that he had a gun cache at his house. The pro-secessionist was subsequently detained in a prison in the Benin Republic after being arrested, but he was released in March 2022. Igboho shared the certificate and several images from the event on his Instagram page on Tuesday. Congratulations to me as I have been awarded a doctorate in peace and security management/international relations from Triune Biblical University, USA, with a focus on war/conflict and peace studies, he stated.
