Legendary adult film actor, Ron Jeremy to be declared “incompetent” in his ongoing several sexual abuse Ron Jeremy, an American porn actor accused of rape and sexual assault by 21 women, is going to be deemed unable to stand trial due to’severe dementia.’ The former adult entertainer, 69, was charged with 30 counts of sexual assault after victims as young as 15 years old accused him.  According to a Los Angeles County prosecutor, he is now unlikely to face his rape trial. Prosecutors claim Jeremy confined some of the women and raped or sodomized them, as well as having sex with others when they were sleeping or unconscious. Jeremy previously pled not guilty to 12 counts of forced rape, seven counts of forceful oral copulation, and six counts of sexual abuse by constraint, according to DA George Gascón. However, the Los Angeles Times adds that Deputy District Attorney Paul Thompson stated that mental health professionals consulted by prosecutors and Jeremy’s defense team decided he has severe dementia. According to the Times, there is no proof that he is faking his symptoms. On January 17, he was scheduled to appear in a Hollywood courtroom where he would be legally pronounced incompetent. ‘As a consequence of the specialists’ agreement, the defendant will be judged incapable to stand trial… his prognosis for rehabilitation is not good,’ according to an internal email. ‘If he does not improve, we will be unable to prosecute him for his crimes. ‘Because criminal procedures are halted while he is incompetent, we are also unable to obtain a guilty plea from him or consider alternative options for obtaining justice for the victims in this instance.’ A study of medical records and conversations with Jeremy revealed that he had severe dementia.  After being judged incompetent, Jeremy is expected to be admitted to a state-run facility. Since his arrest in June 2020, he has been imprisoned at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles County on a $6.6 million bond. ...
