Aggrieved students to block abuja airport and kaduna road In a show of support against the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ on-going strike, the National Association of Nigerian Students has announced that its members will block the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, and Kaduna-Abuja Expressway on Wednesday (today). The entry roadways to the domestic and international terminals of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja were reportedly blocked by students on Monday, leaving stranded travelers and other people. The chairman of the NANS National Task Force, “EndASUUstrike,” Olumide Ojo, told reporters on Tuesday that the reason students did not demonstrate at the Apapa Port on Tuesday as originally planned was to give them time to prepare and strategize for a powerful demonstration on Wednesday. We chose to utilize today (Tuesday) to evaluate our demonstration on Monday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, according to Ojo.
