Actor, Nicolas Cage welcome first child with wife, Riko Shibata After his wife Riko Shibata gave birth to a girl, actor Nicolas Cage is a father once more. It is Riko, an artist, and the actor’s first kid together. From prior partnerships, Nicolas already has two sons: Kal-El, age 16, and Weston, age 31. The couple’s representatives confirmed the news to PEOPLE, saying: “Happy to announce the arrival of their daughter, Nicolas and Riko. Both the mother and the child are healthy.” The infant has yet to receive a formal name, but according to the publication they have given her the name August Francesca Coppola Cage. In March, Nicolas, 58, said he and his fifth wife Riko, 28, were excited to name their unborn child after his father. The Pig actor said in a GQ interview at the time that they had chosen the name Augie if they were to have a girl: “Augie was my father’s nickname,” he explained. In 2019, Cage and Shibata got acquainted and fell in love. He then proposed via FaceTime. In Las Vegas, the couple exchanged vows in February 2021. The actor was married for the fifth time.
