75-year-old Grandma Set Son, Daughter In-Law, Grandchildren On Fire

In Ondo State, a terrible situation has happened as a 75-year-old woman set ablaze her own son, daughter in-law and three grandchildren Iforiti Oloro, a 75-year-old grandmother, is accused of setting her son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids on fire in Ondo State. According to Peoples Gazette, the unfortunate tragedy happened over the weekend in the neighborhood of Aponmu near Akure, the capital of Ondo. Victor Oloro, a septuagenarian who shared a property with her son, is said to have woken up in the middle of the night and reportedly set the family’s home on fire while they were sound sleeping. The family’s home was on fire on Saturday, March 18, 2023, according to Bayo Adegboyega, a resident of the neighborhood who verified the occurrence to The Gazette. “We were aware of the building’s fire at 2:00 a.m., and the entire family was present. “Sadly, by the time we arrived, the fire had already harmed Victor Oloro, his wife Rachel, and their two kids, Toluwani and Blessing. He further said that the burned family members had been transferred to a state hospital in Akure, but that they had been turned away because of the severity of their burn injuries.  “We then sent them to the Federal Medical Center in Owo, but the guy and his wife passed away on Sunday night, and we tragically lost the last baby before they arrived. ...

Oyo APC Guber Candidate, Teslim Folarin Finally Congratulates Makinde

The APC’s gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Teslim Folarin has finally congratulates Seyi Makinde on his re-election Teslim Folarin, the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, congratulated the state governor and Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Seyi Makinde, on his re-election in the just-concluded Saturday election. According to news sources, Makinde received 563,756 votes, defeating his nearest challenger, Folarin of the APC, who received 256,685 votes, and Adebayo Adelabu of the Accord Party, who received 38,357 votes. Adebayo Bamire, the state collation officer and Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-lfe, announced the result on Sunday at the state Independent National Electoral Commission’s collation centre, saying, “Makinde Oluseyi, having satisfied the requirements of the law, is declared winner of the poll.” “In accordance with the official announcement of the Independent National Electoral Commission, I hereby congratulate Seyi Makinde,” Folarin stated in a statement signed personally on Monday. “I would want to extend my profound appreciations to the Oyo State electorate for their support for all APC candidates on February 25th and March 18th elections respectively.  May God continue to bless you all. “Much is expected of those to whom much is given.  On this note, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the leaders and members of our great party, the APC, the coalition parties, candidates from other political parties who worked for us, volunteers, the press, and people who contributed to the Itesiwaju Ipinle Oyo 2023 initiative. Tyler Perry And Diddy In Competition To Buy BET Network

Legendary American rapper popularly known as Diddy and popular Hollywood movie maker, Tyler Perry are in race to buy BET Network Diddy, the rap mogul, has joined Tyler Perry and Byron Allen in expressing interest in purchasing Black Entertainment Television (BET) The action comes amid rumours that Paramount Worldwide is planning to sell the firm. According to “sources” close to the Bad Boy entrepreneur, he’s “exploring the chance to acquire BET as part of his ambition to construct a Black-owned worldwide media behemoth,” Variety claimed on Monday (March 13). Another source said that he isn’t yet in negotiations with Paramount about it, while the firm isn’t allegedly in talks with anyone, including the two other people who indicated interest in the sale, Tyler Perry and Byron Allen. Diddy already owns the REVOLT network, a 2013 multimedia corporation that creates television and internet long-form programming.  The channel presently reaches 80 million households and features 42 shows, including Yung Miami’s Caresha Please, N.O.R.E.’s Drink Champions, and Jim Jones’ Weather Report. Diddy is particularly interested in BET’s return to being a Black-owned brand, which he feels is “better for the company, for the culture, and for producing wealth in the Black community,” according to the article. Tyler Perry now holds a minority share in BET and has a lengthy history with the network.  According to The Wall Street Journal, the deal is being made in order to increase resources for Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

Tenant Allegedly Kills Landlord By Squeezing His Manhood

Ogun state police has arrested a lady who is a tenant for killing her landlord by squeezing his manhood furiously On Saturday, March 11, men from the Ogun state police arrested Ifeoma Ossai, 33, for reportedly murdering her 50-year-old landlord, Monday Surulere Oladele, following a small disagreement. Ifeoma was detained in response to a report filed at the Nigeria Police Divisional Headquarters in Sango Ota by Mr Olaleye Taiwo, who stated that his brother, Monday Oladele, had a disagreement with his renter over the nonpayment of an electrical bill. According to a statement issued by the state police command’s spokeswoman, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Police PRO revealed that Ifeoma seized the deceased’s private parts and dragged him along with it, forcing the landlord to fall to the ground. He stated that the victim of the attack was brought unconscious to Ota General Hospital, where the doctor on duty confirmed his death. When the DPO Sango Ota Division, CSP Saleh Dahiru, got the complaint, he immediately led his detectives to the area, where the suspect was instantly detained and placed into jail for interrogation, according to Oyeyemi. When questioned, Ifeoma stated that the dead urged her to pay her energy bill, but she persisted on not paying it or any other utility payment until water is directly connected to her flat, as promised by the landlord before she packed into her apartment. The PRO said that there was a dispute about utility bill payment between the deceased landlord and his tenant that caused the deceased to droop, be brought to the hospital, and be declared dead by the doctor on duty.  He further stated that the late landlord’s body had been deposited at the hospital morgue for postmortem assessment. Oyeyemi stated that the suspect has been immediately transferred to the Murder branch of the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and rigorous prosecution by the Commissioner of Police, CP Frank Mba.

A court in Spain has determined that a 48-year-old lady would be paid 204,000 (about $215,000) by her ex-husband as compensation for performing unpaid housekeeping during their marriage. According to iNews and the Spanish language daily El Pais, Ivana Moral will get a monthly annuity of €500 (about $528) from her ex-husband, from whom she filed for divorce in 2020. According to the media, the entire sum for the pension was set by a Málaga court based on the minimum monthly professional pay for the 25 years the couple was married. According to reports, her ex-husband, who was not identified in the court judgement, was ordered to pay €400 (£356) and €600 (£533) to their two kids, who are now 20 and 14. He is expected to appeal. According to EuroNews, Moral said she “exclusively” handled the couple’s chores during their marriage. She also claimed that throughout that period, she was unable to pursue her own profession due to “her exclusive devotion to the house and family,” while her ex-husband “accumulated and exponentially grew his fortune,” according to the site. A Nigerian-born music manager has been stabbed to death in UK over wearing fake watch to celebrate his birthday A Nigerian-born music manager was stabbed to death after receiving a “luxury watch” worth up to £300,000 for his birthday. Emmanuel Odunlami, 32, was accosted by three thieves after leaving the Haz restaurant near St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London, where he had a birthday celebration on May 1, 2022. A security operator, Kavindu Hettiarachchi, reportedly alerted the assailants that Odunlami was wearing a Patek Philippe Nautilus watch valued between £90,000 and £300,000 if genuine.
