Football Legend, Pele In Critical Medical Condition

Brazilian football legend, Pele in a very critical medical condition and confined to hospital bed till Christmas Due to the worsening of his colon cancer, Brazilian football star Pele will spend Christmas in the hospital, according to medical sources. Pele, 82, has been battling colon cancer since September 2021. On November 29, he was admitted to the hospital so that physicians could reassess his course of treatment. Pele currently needs treatment for cardiac and renal failure, according to an update on his status from the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, which was published on Wednesday, December q21. Additionally, a respiratory infection that was discovered after his hospitalization has been treated appropriately. Edson Arantes do Nascimento has been in the hospital since November 29 for a review of his chemotherapy treatment for a colon tumor and to treat a respiratory infection. According to the medical staff’s update, he has advanced oncological disease and needs more attention due to renal and cardiac dysfunctions. The patient is still hospitalized and receiving the appropriate treatment from the medical staff in a common area. Kely Nascimento, the legend’s daughter, wrote on Instagram that the support of his followers was a “great comfort” to him. Real Madrid won both titles in the 2021–2022 season, and Benzema led all scorers in both the UEFA Champions League and La Liga of Spain.

Nigeria, who drew in Constantine against the Desert Warriors’ home squad and lost one in Oran. Although the West Africans are currently rated 32nd in the world, they still hold the top spot in Africa. Brazil, a five-time winner, continues to be the finest football-playing country in the world. After outstanding performances in September against two of Africa’s powerhouses, Ghana and Tunisia, Brazil currently leads the log. Belgium’s Red Devils are still in second place, followed by Argentina, Brazil’s adversary in South America. The top five rated countries are completed by France, who is ranked fourth, and England, who is ranked fifth.

Benjamin Mendy Not Found Guilty Of Rape

Benjamin Mendy cleared of one count rape After a tape of one of the encounters was played in court, Man City star Benjamin Mendy was absolved of one count of rape on Tuesday, September 13th, in the evening. After the prosecution presented no additional evidence against the defendants on those four counts, his co-defendant Louis Saha Matturie, 41, was also exonerated of two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault committed against the same victim, known as Woman Seven. The lady, who claimed to have been raped, was shown on a secret tape having “enthusiastic sex” with Matturie, which was shown to the jury. Matturie wiped his eyes as he stood in the dock, and the foreman of the jury delivered the formal not guilty verdicts, as instructed by the judge, at Chester Crown Court. Mendy, 28, has denied eight charges of rape and one count of attempted rape against five women, as well as one act of sexual assault. The alleged offenses occurred on five separate occasions at his Cheshire estate between October 2018 and August last year, involving seven women in all.  Mendy denies all of the allegations. Matturie, 41, of Eccles, Salford, has pleaded not guilty to eight charges of rape and four counts of sexual assault on eight different women. For the time being, both Mendy and Matturie are on trial.

Premier League Cancel All Football This Weekend

English Premier League and FA cancel all football this weekend Due to Queen Elizabeth’s passing, all games this weekend have been postponed by the Premier League and the Football Association. To decide the course of action for the remainder of this weekend’s calendar, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) held a call with representatives from all major sports at 9.30am.  The DCMS left the decision regarding events up to the individual organizations.
