Man Jailed For Killing Girlfriend After Having Abortion Without Informing Him
A man has been handed life imprisonment for killing his girlfriend over abortion argument Siyabonga Ndlozi, 25, was given a life sentence for killing his girlfriend in South Africa on Friday, November 11. Ndlozi, who was accused of murder and violating a protective order, was sentenced to five years in prison at Delmas High Court for domestic abuse. The victim, Silindokuhle Nkonde, 21, was involved with Ndlozi in an abusive relationship, according to Capt. Gibi Mtsweni, spokesman for the Standerton Police. The victim requested and was granted a protective order. When the victim informed the accused that she had killed their unborn child on March 14, 2022, they got into a fight. In a fit of rage, Ndlozi informed the victim that since she had killed their kid, they should both perish and be buried beside it. It appears that Ndlozi took a rope from the main house, strangled the victim until she passed out, fastened the rope to the roof, and then hanged her. The accused attempted suicide using the same rope, but his family intervened and saved him. On the spot, Silindokuhle Nkonde was pronounced dead. Ndlozi was detained until his punishment after being apprehended and having his bail successfully resisted. Even though the punishment won’t bring her daughter back, the deceased’s mother, Sithembile Masilela, said she is pleased with it anyway. She expressed her gratitude to Detective OJ Hadebe for his efforts in seeing that Ndlozi was held accountable for his crimes.
