Policeman Commits Suicide After His Wife Cheats On Him

A cop has killed himself over the argument and infidelity of his wife after he can’t cope with the situation A police officer in Simat village, Kapsaret sub-county, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya, hanged himself over personal squabbles and adultery. Kiplagat Koskei, a police officer assigned to Eldoret Central Police Station, allegedly committed suicide after discovering that his estranged wife was allegedly cheating on him.  Eldoret West police chief Edward Masibo, who characterized the officer as disciplined and industrious, stated that the deceased had long had marital troubles with his wife. Masibo stated; “The cop had succumbed to alcohol consumption after realizing that his wife had been unfaithful to him and it is regrettable that we lost him under such circumstances. “Sometimes it is better to communicate one’s concerns with others so that you might be helped rather than ending one’s own life.”  “For a long period, the cop had a dispute with his estranged wife, which frequently resulted in a fistfight.  We had no idea it would also contribute to the man’s death.” The officer’s body was carried from the crime site to the mortuary at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. “Naira May Fall To N900/1$ From Demand Pressure” – Experts

Economic and Financial experts according to their new report revealed that $1 may become N900 in 2023 According to Andersen, an independent tax and business consultancy organization, the parallel rate of the naira may fall to N900 in 2023 due to demand pressure if mitigating measures are not implemented. Andersen Global, which has a global footprint through its member businesses and cooperating firms, announced this in its research titled ‘Nigeria’s 2023 economic forecast,’ which was delivered by its partners in Lagos. “In 2022, the value of the naira was substantially more constant in the official market than in the parallel market, consequently extending the premium between the two exchange rate windows,” according to the research.  This was owing to increased demand pressure caused by currency illiquidity. “FX excess demand pressure is expected to persist in 2023, fueled by a variety of factors such as elevated global interest rates attracting portfolio investments away from Nigeria; a structurally import-dependent economy; currency speculation if the gap between official and parallel market rates is not closed; and so on, which will keep the naira under pressure in the foreign exchange windows.”  Based on this, if the CBN maintains the gap, the official rate is anticipated to fall to about N500/$, while the parallel market rate falls to around N900/$ by the end of 2023 unless mitigating measures are implemented.” According to the 2023 budget, total revenue was anticipated to be N10.49tn and total spending was around N21.83tn, resulting in a budget deficit of N11.34tn, a 39% increase over the previous budget’s deficit of N8.17tn. The deficit was projected to be covered in large part by domestic borrowings, it noted. “The Director-General of the Debt Management Office indicated that increase in income production serves as a remedy to the expanding debt profile,” according to the article.  Despite an increase in overall government income and spending, the education and health sectors remain underfunded. “Rising inflation and the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on food and energy prices are anticipated to have an influence on Nigeria’s fiscal performance in 2023.” It stated that the financial services industry rose by 12.7% in the third quarter of 2022. Man Arrested For Dressing As Penis And Harassing Women

In a very funny but strange news, a man dressed has giant penis has been arrested for making women uncomfortable Police detained a Brazilian guy dressed as a 7ft penis after ladies reported that he was pestering them. Military Police in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, detained the guy dressed as the huge phallus in the city centre on Sunday for ‘acting suspiciously’. Killer Of Rapper, Nipsey Hussle Sentenced To 60 Years In Prison

Killer of the popular American Rapper, Nipsey Hussle has been sentenced to 60 years in Prison after long standing of legal battle. On Wednesday, Feb. 22, a Los Angeles tribunal sentenced the shooter who killed rapper Nipsey Hussle to 60 years to life in prison. Eric Holder, who was convicted of first-degree murder in July for the death of Nipsey Hussle in a parking lot outside the rapper’s South Los Angeles clothing business on March 31, 2019, received the punishment after hearing from one of Hussle’s friends and receiving a letter from Holder’s father. Holder’s sentencing hearing had been pushed back multiple times as his defense counsel, Aaron Jansen, argued for a lesser sentence, which the judge denied in December. Holder was found guilty of two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter in addition to the murder conviction after two other persons were injured in the incident. Authorities stated that Holder, who was formerly a buddy and part of the same gang as Nipsey Hussle, was enraged over being labeled a snitch and that the shooting was planned in advance. Customer Dies Trying To Withdraw Cash In Bank Queue Amidst Naira Scarcity

According to reports, the event occurred at a Wema Bank branch in the campus when the deceased went to withdraw money. CBN Debunks Press Release Shared On Aisha Buhari’s Page

Yet again, CBN debunks another fake news about the new redesigned Naira despite shared by wife of President. The Central Bank of Nigeria has refuted a bogus news release issued on the First Lady’s Instagram profile, Aisha Buhari. According to the announcement uploaded on Aisha’s page on Tuesday, the old N500 and N1000 notes should be legal money for the next 70 days, until May 1, 2023. To debunk the report, the CBN issued another statement, labeling Aisha’s as “false news.” “For the avoidance of doubt, and in accordance with Mr. President’s broadcast of February 16, 2023, the CBN has been ordered to Exclusively reprint and circulation the old N200 banknotes, which are scheduled to circulate as legal money for 60 days up to April 10, 2023,” the CBN stated. “Members of the public should thus dismiss any message and/or information not explicitly provided by the Central Bank of Nigeria on this topic.  Please verify any material from the proper sources before dissemination, media practitioners.” The ‘false’ release was still on Aisha Buhari’s page at the time of reporting this story.

Banks Burnt During Another Protest In Ogun State

Again, another protest ongoing in Ogun State over the scarcity on new redesigned Naira notes Protests over naira scarcity have erupted once more in Ogun State, with footage online showing two banks set on fire in the state’s Sagamu district. According to reports, the violence began as early as 8 a.m. on Monday as a result of an alleged halt in bank operations, with Automatic Teller Machines purportedly not distributing cash since last week. Several neighbors were seen on Monday watching as Keystone and Union banks were set on fire, with some adolescents brandishing boards in protest. Protesters blocked the Sagamu-Benin highway with bonfires, prohibiting human and vehicular circulation. Oba Babatunde Ajayi, the Akarigbo of Remo, has urged for calm. “I encourage to people to stay calm and peaceful as we continue to engage the Federal Government,” the palace said in a statement.  This policy is not the responsibility of the state or local governments.  Thus, the loss of lives and homes would only worsen an already horrible situation. “I urge our people to continue to accept the old notes in conformity with the Supreme Court order.  No one who accepts the old notes will be disadvantaged.  I can assure you of that, and please keep your pledge.” “Moreover, I am also instructing all our market workers to continue to accept the old notes.  I now guarantee that no one will suffer as a result of owning the old notes.” On Friday last week, Newsmen reported that a demonstration occurred in Ogun State’s Mowe-Ibafo region, with numerous citizens blocking the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in protest of the sorrows and suffering caused by the persistent scarcity of the naira.
