A British Magazine ranks LAUTECH 10th Best University In Nigeria The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has been rated one of Nigeria’s top ten institutions. Its status as the best state university in the country was also verified by its inclusion on the list. According to a statement issued on Thursday by the LAUTECH Public Relations Officer, Mr Lekan Fadeyi, the Times Higher Education reviewed 1,799 universities in 104 countries before naming LAUTECH the 10th best in Nigeria. “The ranking table is based on 13 performance characteristics, such as teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and worldwide view,” he explained. “Times Higher Education is a British magazine that focuses on higher education news and concerns.” This is the first time LAUTECH has been on THE since its inaugural edition in October 1971, and the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mojeed Liasu, says it as excellent development for the university.
