Policeman Commits Suicide After His Wife Cheats On Him

A cop has killed himself over the argument and infidelity of his wife after he can’t cope with the situation

A police officer in Simat village, Kapsaret sub-county, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya, hanged himself over personal squabbles and adultery.

Kiplagat Koskei, a police officer assigned to Eldoret Central Police Station, allegedly committed suicide after discovering that his estranged wife was allegedly cheating on him. 

Eldoret West police chief Edward Masibo, who characterized the officer as disciplined and industrious, stated that the deceased had long had marital troubles with his wife.

Masibo stated;

“The cop had succumbed to alcohol consumption after realizing that his wife had been unfaithful to him and it is regrettable that we lost him under such circumstances.

“Sometimes it is better to communicate one’s concerns with others so that you might be helped rather than ending one’s own life.” 

“For a long period, the cop had a dispute with his estranged wife, which frequently resulted in a fistfight. 

We had no idea it would also contribute to the man’s death.”

The officer’s body was carried from the crime site to the mortuary at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.

According to neighbors, the dead has been accusing his wife of cheating, which has frequently resulted in clashes.

A neighbor stated; “For a long time, the cop had a quarrel with his estranged wife, which frequently resulted in a fistfight. 

We had no idea it would also contribute to the man’s death.”

The officer’s body was transferred from the scene of the incident to the morgue at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.
