Ekiti Assembly Elects New Speaker
Ekiti State House of Assembly has elected new speaker after the death of the last one.
Gboyega Aribisogan, a member of the Ikole Constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly, has been chosen as the new assembly speaker.
On Tuesday, Aribisogun was chosen at the plenary.
He replaces the former Ekiti State Assembly speaker, Funminyi Afuye, who died on October 19, 2022, after a brief illness.
