Teenager Commits Suicide In Osun State

A teenage student in Ipetu-Ijesa, Osun State Commits Suicide
Olonade Tomiwa Victor, a student at the Ipetu-Ijesa College of Technology, reportedly killed himself.
Olonade, a 19-year-old student, was discovered hanging dead in the complex with a phone line around his neck, according to a statement made on Saturday by the Osun State Police Command Spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola.
According to Opalola’s statement, the incident was reported to the Ilesa A Divisional Police by Agboola Olusola, a local youth leader.
“Today, 10/9/2022 at about 2:30pm, one Agboola Olusola ‘M’ of 049 Isokun Street, Ilesa, the youth leader, reported at Ilesa ‘A’ Division that Olonade Tomiwa Victor, ‘M’ ages 19 years, a student of Ipetu-Ijesa College of Technology, Osun State was found dead, hanging in the compound with a telephone cable.”
Opalola stated that investigators sent to the location of the event indicated that the deceased’s body bore no signs of assault.
She said that after taking pictures of the scene, the investigators subsequently transported the teenager’s body to Wesley Guild Hospital in Ilesa.
The Command spokeswoman continued by saying that the situation was still being looked into at the divisional level at the “A” Division Police headquarters and that any new information will be properly shared.
