Ooni of Ife remarries for the third time after exit of Queen Naomi from the marriage
Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, remarries Olori Mariam Anako on Tuesday night.
The new bride, who hails from Kogi State, is a top management executive (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil Limited.
On Tuesday, the new Olori was unveiled upon arrival at the palace of the king in Ile Ife, Osun State.
The change occurs nine months after his ex-wife, Silekunola Naomi, announced the dissolution of their three-year union.
In December 2021, she revealed in a statement posted to her official Instagram page.
Moses Olafare, the spokesperson for Ooni, provided information about the new wedding rituals in a Facebook Live Stream on his official accounts.
The ceremony began at approximately 10:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, was intimate and was graced by chiefs and close aides.
After a few formalities at the building’s entrance, the new wife was led inside the palace.
She was, thereafter, led to the inner court of the palace to meet her husband and other guests waiting to receive her.
